A lash lift refresher is a complimentary adjustment done within 10 days of your original service if the lift didn’t take properly. A full service is a brand-new lash lift application, which is needed once your natural lashes have grown out and the curl has relaxed, typically after 6-8 weeks. The key difference is timing and purpose, not the technique.

What Is a Lash Lift Refresher (Touch-Up)?

A refresher, or touch-up, is a corrective service. It is not a mini-lift. Its sole purpose is to fix a specific issue with a recent lash lift that did not perform as expected. This is a rare occurrence, but it can happen due to factors like extremely resistant lashes or, more commonly, accidental moisture exposure immediately after the service.

The touch-up window is strict because it works on the same set of lashes that were just processed. Applying perm solution again to lashes that are already chemically altered can lead to over-processing and damage. Our policy is designed with this safety in mind.

Lashkin Studio’s Official Touch-Up Policy

We stand behind our work. If you are unsatisfied with your lift results, we want to make it right safely.

• Within 10 Days: Complimentary touch-up. If the lift didn’t curl enough, or one eye didn’t take, we will assess and correct it for you at no charge.
• 10 Days to 3 Weeks: $30 touch-up. After the initial 10-day period, but within 3 weeks of your original service, a small fee applies for the corrective service.
• After 3 Weeks: A new full service is required. By this point, your natural lash growth cycle has moved on, making a touch-up ineffective and unsafe.

What Is a Full Lash Lift Service?

A full service is the complete application of our Korean glueless lift technique from start to finish. It processes your natural lashes from root to tip to create a lasting curl that follows your eye shape. This is what you book for your initial appointment and for all subsequent appointments once your previous lift has fully grown out.

A new lift is performed on a new set of grown-out natural lashes. The old, processed portion has been trimmed or has shed naturally. As of August 2026, our full service options and durations are:

• Scenario: You’re at 5 weeks. The curl is relaxing but you have a big event. Recommendation: Wait for the full service. A touch-up now won’t properly target the new growth and could compromise your results for the event.
• Scenario: It’s been 9 weeks and your lashes are completely straight. Recommendation: Book a full service. Your lift has fully grown out.
• Scenario: You had a lift 7 weeks ago and lost a few point extensions from a PermPoint service. Recommendation: Schedule a full PermPoint service. We don’t offer extension refills on an old lift base.

When a Refresher Might Be Appropriate

Only two scenarios qualify for a touch-up under our policy.

1. The Lift “Didn’t Take” on Some Lashes

Occasionally, a small section of lashes (often in the inner corner) may not curl as much as the rest. If this is noticeable immediately or within days of your service, we can address it in the complimentary window.

2. Early Exposure to Steam or Water

If you accidentally got your lashes very wet or were in a steamy environment within 48 hours of your service, it can relax the curl prematurely. Contact us immediately if this happens for a prompt assessment.

Why PermPoint Follows the Same Rules

PermPoint is our combined service: a glueless lash lift plus LED-bonded point extensions. The lift portion follows the exact same growth cycle and rules as a standard lift.

The point extensions, however, may shed independently. You might lose a few extensions before the underlying lift relaxes. We do not offer “extension refills” on an existing lift. Once the lift has grown out, a full new PermPoint service is needed for a cohesive, beautiful result.
